Holmes Center for the Arts is presenting Handel's "Messiah" in partnership with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic. There will be 3 performances with two in Holmes County: December 1st at the Performing Arts Center in New Philadelphia and two performances on December 7th at Holmes Center for the Arts. We will be singing the Christmas portion of "Messiah" along with some favorites such as the "Hallelujah Chorus".

Timothy Frye graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Bowling Green State University and a Music Education and Vocal Master of Music from the University of Arizona. We are excited to bring Mr. Frye, who has over 40 years of teaching, performing, and conducting experience, to Holmes County!
Handel's Messiah
Holmes Center for the Arts is presenting Handel's "Messiah" in partnership with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic and we need you! If you like to sing, we are recruiting singers of all skill levels, and we'd love for you to be a part of this classic choral performance. Rehearsals will be on Tuesday nights from 7 - 8:30 PM at Holmes Center for the Arts (5200 State Route 39 on the West end of Berlin). The start date for rehearsals is September 24th. There will be 3 performances with two in Holmes County: December 1st at the Performing Arts Center in New Philadelphia and two performances on December 7th at Holmes Center for the Arts. We will be singing the Christmas portion of "Messiah" along with some favorites such as the "Hallelujah Chorus". All who join the choir will be asked to pay dues of $30 to assist with the cost of the production, however, financial aid is available for all those who are unable to contribute.
