"The dance program at the Holmes Center for the Arts is committed to providing quality dance education in a nurturing environment. We focus on correct dance techniques, inspiring our students to do their best, and performance expression. We want each of our students to meet their own goals in dance. We offer our students various performing opportunities where they can learn, grow and express themselves as dancers."
Elementary Dance Camp

These sessions are available to anyone.
If your child is attending summer school in the
East Holmes School District, transportation will be provided to the center after school is out.
Please send your child with a packed lunch and plan to pick them up at HCA at 3:00 PM each day.
Summer Ballet Intensives
Advanced Ballet Intensives:
For students ages 11 - 18 who want to improve their ballet technique and explore other dance styles. This summer, we will have classes in ballet, pointe, pre-pointe, jazz, contemporary, conditioning, and more.

Preschool Summer Fun Camps
Ages 3 through 6 years old
Superhero Adventure Camp: June 3rd and 6th
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a dancing Superhero!
Hone imagination and skills of service while exploring Superhero themes through movement and art.
Students will explore imaginary Superheroes as well as
real-life hero skills like kindness and courage.

Pirates and Mermaids Camp: June 24th and 27th
Ahoy, little adventurers! Set sail on a two-day journey that combines movement and art while exploring
underwater adventures with swashbuckling pirates
and graceful mermaids. Get ready to find a
treasure-chest of fun activities.

Animal Safari Camp: July 8th and 11th
Join us in the jungle for a romping good time!
Students will move like wild animals to the percussive
sounds of the jungle and create colorful animal-themed
art. It will be a virtual wild journey through the wonders of nature.

Beach Blast Camp : July 29th and August 1st
Ride the waves of this epic adventure!
We will be hula-dancing on the beach and catching
some rays as we explore the shore in movement and art.
